WZL-2 completes work on Polish Air Force Su-22 Fitters
After 35 years, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No 2 (WZL-2; Military Aviation Works No 2) at Bydgoszcz, Poland, has completed overhauling, repairing, maintaining and modernising the Polish Air Force (PoAF) fleet of Su-22M4/UM3K Fitter-K/G variable-sweep wing fighter-bombers. On August 29, a Su-22UM3K Fitter-G (707) sporting a commemorative tiger livery was flown back to its home base from the WZL-2 facility at Bydgoszcz.
