PAS 23: Elbit Systems increases number of airworthy T-6As in Greece
As part of a project that was launched in 2021, Elbit Systems has managed to almost double the number of airworthy Beechcraft T-6A Texan II turboprop-driven trainers available to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF). Operated by the HAF’s 361 and 364 Air Training Squadrons (MEAs) – both a part of 120 Air Training Wing (PEA) at Kalamata Air Base – the T-6As are used for undergraduate pilot training (UPT) as a part of the International Flight Training Centre (IFTC).
