Wildcat accident report
The Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) has released the report on the accident of a Grumman Wildcat at Heveningham Hall, Suffolk, that left the pilot seriously injured.Damage to the aircraft, General Motors-built Grumman FM-2 Wildcat G-KINL, was described as substantial, including a broken windscreen and canopy and bent propeller, as well damage to the rudder and fin. The accident occurred at 16:15hrs on July 6, 2023, while landing for a fly-in and static display only at a concours of aircraft,
