The two US Army MH-47G Chinooks from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) ‘Night Stalkers’ which had arrived at RAF Mildenhall onboard USAF C-17s, transited over London yesterday (September 9, 2024).
An RAF Chinook flew into the Suffolk base to escort the MH-47Gs to RAF Odiham in Hampshire via the London heli lanes.
The MH-47Gs are in the UK to work with the RAF throughout September for Exercise Dark Lightning.
