Global Hawk flies into RAF Fairford
The arrival of a Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk at RAF Fairford marked the first time the multi-sensor air vehicle had landed in the United Kingdom.The unmanned air vehicle – RQ-4B Block 40 11-2046/GF – touched down at RAF Fairford shortly before 22:30hrs on August 22, having entered British airspace at over 50,000ft within an airspace corridor that was established for uncrewed aircraft by the Civilian Aviation Authority (CAA) in February 2024.
