JetBlue looks to Long Island
As part of the airline’s network overhaul, JetBlue has announced that it will launch flights from Long Island/MacArthur airport in October. The New York-based carrier will serve Orlando International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International and Palm Beach International airports, with the former operating daily and the latter two routes four times weekly. The airline said its expansion onto Long Island would “bolster its presence in the New York Metro area, complementing its existing operations” at New York’s three primary airports. David Jehn,
