Caproni Ca 310 coming together in Norway
The only surviving Caproni Ca 310 twin-engine reconnaissance machine is now approaching the end of a lengthy restoration in the workshops of the Flyhistorisk Museum at Sola, south-western Norway.One of 24 ‘Klippfiskbomberne’ Capronis ordered by the Norwegian Air Force — the acquisition was a part-barter arrangement that saw cargos of dried and salted Klippfisk cod being delivered to Italy — this survivor, c/n 501, is one of only four that actually entered service with the Norwegians, and was left behind
