
The C182 RG II is equipped with a high-performance 235hp engine and retractable undercarriage. It is known for stable flight dynamics, making it a popular choice for recreational flying and business travel.
The package from Carenado sports a detailed 3D model with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials and textures, eight liveries and a blank template for creating custom paint jobs.

Up front, the cockpit is equipped with Garmin GNS 530 GPS as well as added support for the GTN750 from pms50.com and the GTN750Xi from tdssim.com. Other details include a BendixKing 165 TSO NAV/COM, KAP 140 autopilot, KR87 ADF, a KT76A transponder and a digital fuel calculator/fuel flow readout gauge.

A custom tablet can set different startup states: ‘Cold and Dark’, ‘Ready to Taxi’ and ‘Ready for Take-off’. It can also be used to control ground equipment such as opening doors, adding aircraft covers/tie-downs or viewing the pilot models.

Other highlights include HQ digital stereo sounds recorded from a real aircraft with audio effects for the engine, switches and electrical motors, as well as wind sounds when opening doors and windows. Finally, documentation includes normal/emergency procedures and performance tables.
The C182 RG II is available on the Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace for £16.74.
