Following its time in the UK, it was converted to two-seat configuration and flew in New Zealand for a while as ZK-RMH before entering storage. Now registered as VH-AK4, new owner Andrew Kennedy flew it for the first time on April 24 this year.
Andrew is also forming plans for the future operation of this distinctive warbird. “We will do a limited number of public displays each year and there are no immediate plans to change the paint scheme,” he said.
“In time, we will do a limited number of adventure [passenger] rides. You can look us up on social media at Warbird Adventure Flights.”
