easyJet to return to London Southend Airport
EasyJet will reopen its base at London/Southend in March 2025, five years after it closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The relaunch will see the airline position three Airbus A320neos at the site.The airport will become easyJet’s tenth UK base and its opening is expected to create around 130 direct and indirect jobs. Six new routes to Pisa, Gran Canaria, Dalaman, Antalya, Marrakech and Enfidha are to be launched, with more to follow. The move comes hot on the heels
