New home for Caravelle and 707 nose sections
A pair of classic airliner nose sections have been delivered to Bunge flygmuseum in Sweden , The front section of Caravelle III F-BHRU arrived at the attraction on January 20, where it joins that of Boeing 707-430 D-ABOD. The bulk of the Caravelle, named Poitou, was scrapped in 1980 following some 37,000 hours in the air. Acquired by Nils Alegren the nose section was moved to Munich, Germany, in 2012 where it was converted into an operational flight simulator –
