Germany orders more Eurofighter EF2000 Typhoons

During ILA 2024 in Berlin on June 5, 2024, the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced an order from Germany for further Eurofighter EF2000 Typhoons. In a speech on the show’s opening day, Chancellor Scholz said: “We will order 20 more Eurofighters before the end of this legislative session (scheduled for autumn 2025).” A Eurofighter statement said the order “underlines Germany’s commitment to NATO in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine”.
