Busiest airports revealed

Airports Council International (ACI) has detailed which were the busiest airports in the world last year. Atlanta/Hartsfield Jackson held on to the top position and was followed by Dubai International for the first time, surpassing Dallas/Fort Worth in third place. London/Heathrow and Tokyo/Haneda Airport were in fourth and fifth place, respectively. From the top ten rankings for total passenger traffic, five airports were in the US. The biggest jump was recorded for Tokyo/Haneda, which leapt from 16th position in 2022
