Developed by FlightSim Studio, the aircraft comes in two versions, a light and an advanced version.

The light version is a realistic replica of the Searey Amphibian LSA (Light Sport Aircraft), featuring a detailed 3D model, high-resolution PBR textures inside and out, multiple real-world liveries and a custom realistic sound set. It also supports native Microsoft Flight Simulator technologies such as windshield rain effects, visual airframe icing and interactive checklists.

Other highlights include integrated flight planning, custom-coded instruments and electrical and fuel systems to reflect the real operation of the top-mounted rear-facing engine. Several special features and animations include dynamic registration on liveries, yaw string animation and an anchor simulation.

The SeaRey Elite – Advanced version includes an additional home-built experimental version along with a custom EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) for setting the weight and balance in real time, simulated walkaround with interactive and animated check items like wheels, control surfaces, prop rotation and tie-down. It also comes with in-game checklists, including custom camera positions and camping equipment.

The SeaRey Elite – Light is available on Aerosoft's online shop for €10.03.
The Advanced version can be purchased for €18.10.
