The Tornado is a two-seat, all-weather supersonic long-range fighter bomber used for high-speed, low-level attack missions, although other capabilities include high-altitude intercepts and close support. An automatic low-altitude terrain following system enhances penetration capability while power is provided by two RB199-34R axial-flow turbofans equipped with afterburners and thrust reversers.

The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator sports a detailed external model for GR.1 and ECR variants with several liveries depicting Italian, British, German and Saudi Arabian air forces, along with a custom sound set based on real-world recordings.

Other highlights include a realistic flight model, detailed pilot and WSO cockpits (IDS variant) with authentic systems simulation, allowing actual normal procedures to be followed. A simplified Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) simulation is included with optional voice messages and partial automation of WSO operations. It is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$49.76 (approx £26.04).
