Pyramid 8 Studios has announced YRAY Sydney Seaplanes for Microsoft Flight Simulator is out now.

Located in Rosebay one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs, the seaplane base dates back to the 1930s and the golden age of Australian aviation.

The area is accurately recreated using the latest 3D modelling and animation techniques to capture the look and feel of Sydney’s most popular seaplane base. Empire Lounge, Shark Island and Cottage Point Inn are also modelled with detailed interiors.

Other features include detailed buildings with interior modelling and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) texturing. It also includes custom animations and night lighting effects, authentic vegetation and boats and yachts in the harbour. More than 1,500 hand-placed objects and buildings are included in the package along with terraforming of the landscape to blend in seamlessly with Microsoft Flight Simulator.
