Scenery developer sim-wings has released a detailed rendition of Menorca Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, sporting high-resolution aerial photographs and detailed airport buildings.
Menorca Airport (LEMH) on the island of Menorca is one of three international commercial hubs on the Balearic Islands, along with Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza.

The package from sim-wings features up-to-date airport buildings with interior modelling on the apron side, new solar panels near the main car park, a new tower construction on the terminal roof and various static objects such as ground service vehicles.

Other highlights include animated jetways with functional VDGS (Visual Guidance Docking System) and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials for realistic surfaces and glass reflections. It also comes with dynamic lighting and ground markings based on recent charts.

The airport area has been terraformed to provide a realistic representation of the surrounding terrain with actual elevation profiles for the runway according to official AENA height profile charts. Finally, a custom aerial image has been retouched and colour-corrected to match the real airport.

Menorca is available on Aerosoft’s online shop for €18.10 (approx £15.50).
