Soldiers Bar is a USFS (United States Forest Service) airstrip in Big Creek Canyon known for camping and fishing. Although it's considered a recreational airstrip the challenges it presents are only for the most seasoned pilots due to a 4-degree upslope, an uneven surface and a dogleg on the runway.
