UPDATE: Since this story was written on December 5, 2023, the AW109SP, GZ100, has been seen on flight trackers a number of times with RAF callsigns, so is back in use with the air arm. The UK MOD has done a U-turn on the use of the Leonardo AW109SP GrandNew helicopter.
