Skytrooper moves under its own power 
Vintage Wings Inc’s Douglas C-53 Skytrooper 41-20095 successfully completed its first post-restoration taxi runs on December 12 in Franklin, Pennsylvania. The former troop transporter has been revived in a special wartime scheme after being acquired by Jason Capra in 2015. The final stage will be to return the aircraft – named Beach City Baby – to the skies, where it will serve as a tribute to the many who operated or flew aboard C-53s in World War Two. Beach City
