Brazil celebrates ten years of P-3AM Orion operations
The Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB, Brazilian Air Force) celebrated ten years of operations with the Lockheed P-3AM Orion maritime patrol aircraft on July 30. The type entered operational service with the FAB in 2011, following the acquisition of nine former-US Navy P-3A Orions, which were subsequently overhauled and upgraded to their current P-3AM standard by Airbus in Getafe, Spain, before delivery.
