The latest destination from LatinVFR is Miramar KNKX for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The package is an authentic recreation of the actual airport with hand-made buildings ground markings and textures based on the most recent available data.

PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials are used throughout the scenery, along with realistic airport lighting, taxi and runway signs.

It also comes with static aircraft, including F-35’s, F-18’s, MV-22 Osprey, CH-53E and the KC-130J Hercules located at the actual airfield.

Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, nicknamed “Fightertown USA”, is home to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, north of San Diego in California. It is also the home airfield to the original 1986 Top Gun movie, where the TOPGUN training program was based until it moved to Nevada in 1996.
