Aerosoft has announced Mehamn Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.

Mehamn is located deep in the Arctic circle in northern Norway on the Barents Sea and surrounded by narrow fjords, resulting in challenging approaches.

The package from Aerosoft sports highly detailed airport buildings with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials and interior modelling for the tower and terminal building.

Other highlights include custom taxiway and runway lights with authentic ground textures and markings, including a grooved runway.

The surrounding area features reworked terrain and vegetation, including the entire city with custom buildings such as the graveyard and church on the approach, lighthouse with a revolving light, red obstacle lights on the surrounding mountain tops, snow fences and breakwater.
