Could Wizz Air have a hydrogen future?
Two of the biggest names in European aviation have inked a deal to examine the practical potential of hydrogen-powered aircraft. Wizz Air and Airbus have signed an agreement to collaborate on operational and infrastructure opportunities related to the next-generation technology. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will see the Hungarian carrier analyse how hydrogen options could be integrated into its ultra-low-cost business model. It is expected to provide Wizz with knowledge of how operating zero-emission hydrogen aircraft could enhance its operations
