Clark International to introduce Collins Aerospace suite

The implemented solutions are set to help streamline passenger processing whilst supporting social distancing measures and contactless services

Clark International (CRK) in the Philippines has selected a suite of Collins Aerospace ARINC airport solutions to help improve passenger experience as demand for travel increases.

The hub has chosen to implement a number of processing and operations amenities, created by the aviation firm, to help advance customer flow through its new Terminal Two facility.

The facilities include Collins Aerospace’s cMUSE system, which is a cloud based check-in platform designed to ease passenger congestion. Additionally, there is the AirVue digital signage solution and the AirPlan to help manage operational resources.

"We are excited to be partnering Collins Aerospace to provide the suite of passenger service solutions to Clark International Airport in its journey to be a world class airport in the Philippines and beyond,” said Bi Yong Chungunco, chief executive officer of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (the hub’s operator). “With these solutions, passengers will have a smooth, seamless, and stress-free passenger journey with new 24/7 self-service check-in facilities and digital wayfinding screens.”

Kit Su Lee, Asia-Pacific regional head of operations for Collins Aerospace’s information management services business, added: “We were able to build a custom package for the airport that not only meets that criteria but will also create a more enjoyable travel experience for customers and improve CRK’s capacity and efficiency.”

All solutions set to be inaugurated at the Pampanga hub are expected to be installed and operational by the third quarter of this year.

Most recently, Tokyo/Haneda Airport implemented the company’s ARINC SelfPass solution, which utilises biometrics to help reduce contact between passengers.
