Wizz Air to close a UK airport base

Wizz Air has announced that it will cease all operations at Cardiff Airport later this month. Following a reduction in its flight schedules from the Welsh airport announced last September, the airline's two remaining winter routes to Milan and Bucharest will stop operating on January 25. Wizz Air opened the base in April 2022.
