Bundle of surplus UK Merlin kit offered for sale

The UK Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) is selling more than 1,000 pieces of equipment previously utilised by the country’s Merlin rotary fleet, valued at over £45m in total. Published in an October 19 sales inventory, the DE&S list of 1,380 pieces of equipment contains items such as FLIR [forward-looking infrared] display units, motherboards, processors and more deemed surplus to MOD requirements.
