Report claims spatial disorientation caused Michigan F-16C crash
A US Air Force Aircraft Accident Investigation Board report into the loss of an F-16C in the Hiawatha National Forest, Michigan, on December 8, 2020, has found that spatial disorientation caused the crash. The report, released on June 9, identifies the aircraft involved as 86-0317 ‘WI’ from the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing/176th Fighter Squadron ‘Badger Air Militia’ at Truax Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin.
