Air Algérie to fly Africa’s longest route

Intra-African connectivity is to receive a much-needed boost with the launch of the continent’s longest scheduled route. From September 21, Air Algérie is to link its base at Algiers/Houari Boumediene with Johannesburg/OR Tambo. The year-round service will operate twice-weekly, with outbound departures on Sunday and Thursday and return flights on Monday and Thursday.
