Munich Airport says it is experiencing signs of recovery, citing 400 departures and landings with more than 30,000 passengers every day as evidence of a rebound.
Across the site, a total of 20 restaurants and bars, 45 shops and six car rental facilities have reopened to accommodate the rise in demand.

The airport is set to resume more hospitality and retail operations, such as the popular Hard Rock Café. In May, a new Munich-based company, dean&david, was opened in Terminal 2 to provide passengers with healthy, sustainable foods.
Customers are also able to take advantage of the new bar on the fourth level at the facility.
Munich currently offers extensive information and advice regarding travelling during the pandemic.
