The thoughts of all at FlyPast and Key Aero are with those affected by yesterday’s accident
On November 12 Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress ‘Texas Raiders’ was involved in a mid-air collision with Bell P-63 Kingcobra 43-11719 at Dallas Executive Airport in Texas. Both aircraft were participating at the Commemorative Air Force Wings Over Dallas World War II Airshow. The final day of the airshow, scheduled for Sunday 13th, has been cancelled.
Details of casualties had not been confirmed at the time of writing. The Commemorative Air Force is working with local authorities and the FAA, and the NTSB will conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident.
