DC Designs has announced the F-4E F-4J and FGR2 F4 Phantom for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.

The package includes the F-4E, F-4J and British FGR2 variants; each has been made to a high level of detail with several paint schemes and unique animations, such as an arrestor hook and launch system compatible with MSFS moving aircraft carriers. It also makes full use of all MSFS effects, such as G vapour, contrails and exhaust heat blur, along with a thermal anti-icing system, with airframe and engine anti-icing and custom effects for the 'smoky' J-79 and Rolls-Royce Spey engines.

Both pilot and RIO cockpits are modelled with custom-coded systems, including fuel, hydraulic, oxygen and air conditioning/cabin pressurisation, TACAN navigation, a custom-coded INS and an operational radar with air-to-air and air-to-ground modes.

Other highlights are native MSFS Wwise sounds recorded from a real aircraft, including Rolls-Royce Spey and J-79 engine recordings and accurate flight dynamics based on real-world performance and handling data. The package is available on the MSFS in-game Marketplace for £24.99.
