Anson arrives at Avro Heritage Museum
On 22 May, the Avro Heritage Museum at Woodford, Stockport received Anson C19 TX214 from the RAF Museum Midlands at Cosford, a significant addition to the museum’s collection. The aircraft has been permanently gifted by the RAFM. Originally built at the Avro factory at Yeadon — now Leeds Bradford Airport — between January and August 1946, it is recorded as flying with No 16 Ferry Unit at St Mawgan that September.
