Third Il-114-300 joins test programme

A third prototype, Ilyushin Il-114-300, has joined the flight test programme. Its maiden flight was carried out on March 31 and lasted around 30 minutes. United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) said that adding a third test aircraft will allow the manufacturer to complete the required number of tests to “certify the aircraft within the established timeframe”.
