Profits return to Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic has reported full-year operating profits of £230m and a pre-tax profit of £19.7m before exceptional items for the year ending December 31, 2024. The carrier said this was thanks to its four-year turnaround plan, launched in 2022, to make the airline “sustainably profitable”. The results marked the carrier’s return to profit for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement, Virgin Atlantic said passenger capacity growth of 7.6% and continued demand for business and premium leisure
