Virgin Atlantic launches first service to Saudia Arabia

Virgin Atlantic Airways has launched a new daily service from London/Heathrow to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. It is the first time the carrier has served Saudi Arabia. The inaugural service departed Heathrow on March 30, 2025. In Virgin Atlantic’s summer 2025 schedule, the outbound flight (VS242) departs Heathrow at 2225hrs local and arrives in Riyadh at 0725hrs local.
