Developments at Qantas: A321XLR, A380, A350-1000ULR news and more

Qantas’ initial Airbus A321XLR has emerged from the manufacturer’s paint shop in Hamburg, Germany. The Australian flag carrier’s parent company, Qantas Group, released the photos of the aircraft (manufacturer’s serial number 12323, currently D-AXXE) on February 27, 2025. In a statement presenting its financial results for the half-year ending December 31, 2024, Qantas Group said it now expects the aircraft to be delivered in June 2025, rather than April 2025 as previously announced.
