OK, there is no “new” news on NWeald. I was at the hearing in Letchworth the other week. I was so impressed with how Peter Kember, the planning officer employed by NWAUG (North Weald Airfield Users Group), put our case across, that I asked him if I could send his whole script to the aviation press.

He agreed, I ran this past the NWAUG committee and they informed me that they had already sent a press release to the four big aviation publishers.

At the moment, the “committee” is in Thailand (thanks for the pun Yakrider) using an internet cafe which is making simple things such as storing email addresses very difficult.

Bottom line. Read the press.
