It would be interesting to know what information is available to Belgians and anyone else coming into the country as far as Notams are concerned. I would have thought it wise to read the Notams on http://www.ais.org.uk if travelling abroad. I often read through reams of pages picking out the relevant bits. The “narrow route” option usually keeps irrelevant stuff to a minimum.

I may be wrong but I think the guy started this particular leg from a UK field.

Have you tried Ian Fallon’s excelllent NotamPlot? A graphical representation of the Notams helps sort out the relevant stuff very quickly.
