We were not sure how much the Vulcan was going to do as she was just passing on her way home to Doncaster, but Cleethorpes ended up blessed with a full display

With the sky brightening, it was the turn of the local lifeboat and the Sea King replacement Sikorsky to show what they could do.

It’s nice… but it’s not a Sea King.

The next item to display in the patchy sky was the Yak display team, equipped with 3 Yak 50s and 1 Yak 52. I have to admit they flew a very neat, polished display which I enjoyed greatly.

After the Yaks the BBMF Spitfire XVI and Hurricane II displayed

The Spitfire solo was first

Then the Hurri took over

The show was closed with the North Weald Gnat team
