The only one I thought was on a downward spiral was and I hate to say it because people will jump down my throat…… The Starfighter, I know she has had work done on her and has been primed in places, but from an Aircraft Engineers point of view, Exfoliation corrosion can not be partially treated and protected, you need to remove it all, and then you have a chance….. a quick treat and cover will not help and im my ( and I will get flamed for this) opinion it is on a rocky downward spiral .

yep the Starfighter has been on a downward spiral for some time,she came to Bruntingthorpe last year after many years of external storage by her previous owners,she will require a some work but i have heard that this airframe may be for sale hence a full restoration could be on hold.
