And the Indian railways were streaks ahead of any LCC in India
Now defunct Indian carrier Damania from the early 90s was fined and eventually had to shut shop after an incident where 2 passengers were taken standing between BOM and DEL.
So they were clearly ahead of Ryanair. 😀
And the Indian railways were streaks ahead of any LCC in India just take a peek at these images http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=indian+commuters+on+trains&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1024&bih=477
I’d say a ‘moving sculpture’ of Indian railway commuters adorning trains. Sure beats washing the trains down on the outside, as the commuters garments will clean the carriages and engine.
In comparison what’s one, two or a ‘bakers dozen’ LCC passengers standing, maybe even on their heads, while the aircraft is in flight including take off and landing. All part of a busy day.
