Scary for the passengers, routine for the crew. The 727 used to (still does, I guess) suffer compressor stall on no. 2 engine at very high altitude, or sometimes when taking off or landing whilst applying thrust or reverse thrust in a crosswind. “Oh, It’s barking again!”
