A couple of corrections from a few of the posts above
Originally Channel Express was the full company name, with Jet2 only being a branding – indeed even before Jet2 were formed Channel Express flew Passengers on the B733QCs.
The name was later changed to Jet2 and there are only 2 aircraft still in “Greentail” – G-CELP which was residing mostly in STN until it’s ‘C-Check’, however is working out of EDI atm, and G-CELW the only Pure Freighter in the fleet which is based in EXT.
The company is now based at LBA not BOH.
The Channel express was using Channex call-sign it might of been doing GSM flights ,but m not sure
Referance when Jet2 fly for Globespan, it would always be “Globespan” as a callsign and not Channex, however it won’t always nessecerily be G-CELR (painted in GSM colours) that would be flying the routes – confusing eh!
Hope its of use
