The Bucker Jungmann taking part in a five aircraft formation presentation at Old Rhinebeck ( New York state) came into contact with a Great Lakes sports trainer. Video show the aircraft making contact, and the Jungmann immediately descending, to subsequently descend over the heavily wooded area, and crash into treetops. Pilot Dave Trost escaped with minor injuries, but the biplane was wrecked.
Old Rhinebeck have very much down-played the accident and avoided reference to a mid- air collision on their fb feed.
”Thanks you to all of you for your support following today’s incident during the Air Show. It appears that during the “bombing raid” formation, Dave Trost’s Bucker sustained some damage. He decide to put the airplane down in the trees just west of the south end of the runway. Dave is sore but OK. The airplane sustained significant damage. Thanks again for all your good wishes.”

Yikes, he’s a lucky man to walk away from that!
If he deliberately put it into the trees, Dick Grace would have been very proud of him.
