Very kind of you to say so. It’s that an upgrade in the sense of a replacement, but I had wanted a second body for a while to eliminate the need for changing lenses when walking around the statics. I bought the 7D with a 24-70 lens to supplement the 40D, using the short lens on the old body and using the longer lens on the new body. The two work well together, first time I’d had both at my disposal at OW and was very happy with the results from both.

Yes, they are great. What (long) lens do you use?
