I have heard a rumor that the UK Skyraider has been sold.
Any official announcement?

Thankyou for confirming that.

The Skyraider is still there.

Does anyone know if this has left North Weald now? The most recent photos I can find of it at North Weald are from early 2022 with the outer wings, tailplane and propellor removed.
I assume it is long since departed, but any confirmation would be appreciated.
With the Lim-5/MiG-17 departed, the Skyraider sold and the plug now pulled on the Skymaster project, that’s some of North Weald’s most interesting projects (in my eyes at least) gone – still, there’s Lynx HMA8SRU ZD252, Hunter T8C WV322 & the Gnat F1 (G-SLYR) to hope for success in the future – oh, and a Jaguar?

@kennetaviation: it has indeed been sold. We’ll miss her but she’s going to a good home! You’ll see updates as it happens.

What did they say?

It’s been rumoured for a while and Kennet Aviation confirmed it (publicly) in a comment on my Instagram a few weeks ago.

It’s still registered to Tim Manna on the CAA G-INFO site.
Cheers
