Vickers General Spares.There is a list for the early 30,s but havent found one for the later 30,s and early 40,s till they changed to AGS.

Not to worry. The question relates to head marking for those bolts. The back story is more complicated, and it would have been nice to have the A30 spec, but it is not essential. Thanks.

Hi Nicko. Your original q. was regarding A30 close tolerance bolts. Did you get the spec for them?

Is you observation re A26 bolts a separate issue as they are not close tolerance bolts?

Interestingly the CAP document is either too general or perhaps reflects later BS specs (who knows), as it doesn’t match what it says here for A26…

Nicko. Search online for a copy of CAP 562 – Civil Aircraft Airworthiness Information and 
Procedures.  Leaflet E-30 (Bolts and Screws of British Manufacture) may It may be what you are looking for.
