Yak-3 arrives at North Weald

Yak-3 F-AZIM has risen from a long rest at Antwerp and has just been flown to North Weald by the new UK owner, who was making his first flight on type !

If it remains on the French register it may have to live a peripatetic existence, returning every 60 days or something.  It would ideally be based at White Waltham but the sporty runway surface ( call it bumpy) is a bit too much for the initial ‘shakedown’ period.
