Chichester Harbour P-38 relics ex Shoreham D-Day Museum (Sussex)

This is a long shot I know. 

Many moons ago there was (from my fading memory) a control yoke relic and engine recovered from a P-38 that crashed into Chichester Harbour and was on display in the now closed Shoreham D-Day Museum which used to be at Shoreham Airport. This is not to be confused with the Shoreham Museum in Kent! These items were sold off at auction and I would love to see photos of the display/parts etc if anyone can help?
